Stage Manager

Stage Manager

Elena Sartor was born and raised in a little town in the North East of Italy.  Her love for the theatre was clear since the age of 5, when she performed in The Little Match Girl for a regional company.  She studied acting and Commedia dell’Arte with great teachers, like Carla Manzon, Elisabetta Brusa, Carlo Boso, and then she met Susan Batson and Mary Setrakian who changed her life.  Elena holds a Bachelor in Management of Cultural Activities with Honors from Cà Foscari University, Venice, Italy, and graduated at New York Film Academy in Musical Theatre.  Elena starred in the Commedia dell’Arte play In volo verso Simurgh directed by Elisabetta Brusa for the 38. Biennale Teatro di Venezia and worked for two years as Assistant Director for a young regional company throughout the North East of Italy. That has enriched her from the technical and organizational point of view of a show.  She works successfully as a Stage Manager in famous locations as the Secret Theatre, the York Theatre and the Manhattan Repertory Theatre.

Elena delighted to collaborate with such an inspirational team!
